What are Frigo Trailers?

A Frigo Trailer, also sometimes known as a refrigerator truck or chiller lorry, is part of a transportation fleet of vehicles designed to carry perishable freight in temperature-controlled conditions. 

Used predominantly for e-commerce & retail transportation for food & beverage sectors, Frigo trailers can be ice-cooled, equipped with any one of a variety of mechanical refrigeration systems powered by small displacement diesel engines, or utilise carbon dioxide (either as dry ice or in liquid form) as a cooling agent.
